The National Research Council (CNR) and the One Water Committee sign a Memorandum of Understanding for the Sustainable Management of Water Resources: science and strategy united for the future of water
Water is the vital link between the environment and health. With the support of the CNR, scientific research becomes the driving force for change toward a sustainable water future, focused on protecting aquatic ecosystems and promoting the integrated “One Water” approach.
Thanks to the signing by our President Maria Spena and CNR President Andrea Lenzi, we are joining forces to protect aquatic ecosystems through innovation and research. The collaboration is already set for the next three years, and among our first joint initiatives is the organization of the First Euro-Mediterranean Water Forum, to be held in Rome from September 29 to October 2, 2026, promoted by the One Water Committee in partnership with international institutions such as the Union for the Mediterranean and the Mediterranean Water Institute.
