The Comitato Italiano One Water, acting as Data Controller, pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, the "General Data Protection Regulation" (hereinafter "the Regulation"), provides you with the following information regarding the processing of your personal data.

1. Categories of data processed and Purposes of processing Your identification data and the email address submitted through the newsletter subscription form will be processed for the purpose of sending informational and promotional materials relating to the Euro-Mediterranean Water Forum and the Comitato Italiano One Water.

2. Legal basis and provision of data The legal basis for the processing is the consent you have provided. The provision of personal data is optional. Should you grant your consent, please note that you are entitled to withdraw it at any time and with the same ease with which it was originally given, by using the unsubscribe function included in all communications or by writing to the contact details set out at the bottom of this notice.

3. Recipients of personal data Your personal data will be processed by authorised personnel, duly trained and acting under the authority and responsibility of the Data Controller. Personal data may also be processed by third-party service providers who supply instrumental services, including communication services, electronic mail, technical services for website management, and IT service providers.

Only the data strictly necessary for the performance of their respective functions will be disclosed to the parties referred to above. 4. Data Subject Rights We also inform you that, with regard to your personal data, you may exercise at any time the rights provided for under Chapter III of the Regulation. In particular, you have the right to request from the Data Controller: access to your personal data, rectification or erasure thereof, completion of incomplete data, and restriction of processing; to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; to withdraw any consent previously given in relation to the processing of your data; and to object, in whole or in part, to the use of your data, as well as to exercise any other rights afforded to you under applicable legislation. Pursuant to Article 77 of EU Regulation 2016/679, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) if you consider that the processing of your data infringes the aforementioned Regulation.
